While the campground itself is quite nice, situated in a beautiful, peaceful setting, we will NEVER return to Rivers Bend Campground. The lady who showed us to our campsite was very nice and helpful. The man, however was extremely rude. We had set up in the dark, and all seemed great. However during the night, the o-ring in our hose must have gone bad, and started leaking at the connection. Rather than knocking on our door and letting us know, the man just turned off the water supply, which happened to be while my friend was in the shower. We had no idea what had happened. Thankfully, a fellow camper was nice enough to come over and help us discover why our hose was now leaking and even gave us an o-ring. Later that morning a dear lifelong friend of mine, who lives in nearby Bristol, came to pick us up to take us on a scenic tour of the area. She was grilled by the man as to her purpose for being there, what campsite were we parked at, how long she would be staying, on and on. She was simply just coming to pick us up! As we were leaving, we stopped at the office to sign up and pay for one more night. The man told my friend he would not rent to us for another night because they "didn't like people coming and going" from the campground. This was in October, the campground had plenty of empty sites, you would think they would be glad to have spaces occupied.....cha ching. This guy apparently missed the class on Tourism & Good Business 101. We unhooked and left the campground, never to return again. We did, however, spend time (and some money) in Bristol, a quintessential New England town with some great restaurants and shops. Everyone there was so friendly! And that night, we stayed at a wonderful campground, Mallett Bay, north of Burlington, which I definitely recommend. Everyone there was friendly too!

Horrible experience. Rude, cocky, disrespectful. No customer service skills what so ever. I will not go back and I wouldn't recommend this campground to my worst enemy. If you are looking for a relaxing camping experience, do not go here! You won't be treated disrespectfully, you will go home frustrated. There are other campgrounds in Vermont with great relaxing view. They micro manage like a drill instructor. 8 pm visiting hours are over, not 805! Rude texts, owner mows where he wants when he wants no matter where!

A hidden Gem. Level grass sites on the river. Ours was next to river and was beautiful. Nice pool, clean restroom, pleasant owners, and very chill.

Beautiful. Right on the river. Quiet, level sites, full hook up no need to use facilities. People working there friendly and accommodating.

Nice campground on the river. Arrived by bicycle and had a good stay. Friendly host.
